Why Live In Austin?

I keep three blogs and even at the risk of having duplicate content, I am posting this list on all three because there are so many great reasons to live in Austin. Take a look:

There are very cool places to visit in and just outside of Austin. A couple of my favorites are Krause Springs and the Oasis.

My wife and I are moving to Austin from Hartford, Connecticut around December 1. We've been down there a few times over the past few years and are extremely excited. The reasons we're going are all pretty much represented on this list! JML

Austin is a great place to live except for the McMansion Ordinance that severely restricts home size for those that want to build new or remodel and steers young families away from central Austin. Property values and sales in central Austin will lower as a result.
