The Homestead Exemption

Did you buy a home in Travis County, Williamson County or Hays County last year?  If so you may be able to reduce what you owe in property taxes by applying for the homestead exemption.  You can download applications for the homestead exemption for these counties from my website on my homestead exemption applications page.  You will find links there to county pages where you can learn more about other exemptions as well.
